HISTORY:
My version of Seimei is in an on-and-off permanent marriage with his former rival Douman Ashiya and the past ruler of Heian Japan, Ononomiya no Murasaki of a Fujiwara clan branch. Both are immortal and go between loving him and getting fed up with him in decade-spanning periods. He also has permanent bonds with twelve legendary shikigami that he's often known for, who also tend to be the most tolerant of his antics -- because they have their own territories to watch over and don't have to deal with him constantly.Seimei also has a complicated friends-to-lovers relationship with Minamoto no Hiromasa, the one human he had the best relationship with during Hiromasa's lifetime in the Heian period. Seimei periodically reunites with Hiromasa's reincarnations, but tends to frustrate them as they try to settle into new, normal lives and get thwarted by dealing with a magical fox man.
